Most people think of Other Parents Orphanage Services as the agency that cares for vulnerable children whose families can’t care for them anymore. But a huge part of our mission is helping families in crisis stay together. We are leading the way in innovative social services that keep children and their families together. No matter the crises, we help them tap their strengths to conquer their pain.
The families we serve face enormous threats to their unity: the death of a parent, divorce, illness, homelessness, violence and substance use.

Our masters-level and state-licensed specialists have served more than 10,000 families over the past eight years. Their proven approach, as well as their compassion and patience, has saved many families from breaking apart.
First, specialists make sure the children are safe. Then they help families create goals to work toward and support them when they need it, for as long as they need it.
Other Parents believes that the most powerful way to help children is by strengthening their families. We accomplish this by living into our philosophy of care which is to be family centered, strength focused, and goal driven.
